Hey everyone! It's your friend, . Woojoo i!
Our very own SpaceEye-T, developed by SI Group, has successfully settled into its orbit!
After finishing all its calibration, it's been super busy with its schedule, capturing amazing views of our Earth.
SpaceEye-T was born at Satrec Initiative, the SI Group company in charge of manufacturing.
It was crafted with so much care in a dust-free cleanroom and went through tons of super strict tests to make sure it's a reliable, top-notch final product.
And guess what?
On March 15, 2025,
SpaceEye-T successfully settled into its mission orbit and made its very first contact with the ground station!
It was such an exciting moment for all of us!
Our SpaceEye-T is a super high-resolution commercial Earth observation satellite with VVHR technology.
It creates optical images with an incredible 25cm resolution from an altitude of 500km.
What does 25cm resolution mean? It means that a 25cm by 25cm area is recognized as a single pixel to create an image.
The smaller the number, the higher the resolution, so 25cm is seriously good.
And get this – we're now providing the highest resolution satellite images among commercial-grade satellite imagery worldwide!
According to a report from the World Economic Forum (WEF), the potential added value generated by Earth observation data is expected to exceed USD 700 billion by 2030.
SpaceEye-T is about to embark on a journey where it will play a huge role in so many different fields, like industry and economy, national security, agriculture and energy, logistics, urban planning, disaster response, and more.
It's going to be a total game-changer for our planet.
Alright, let's dive into some of the amazing satellite images SpaceEye-T has captured from all over the place.
I'll be back with more exciting updates soon!
